Do not buy, latch is approximately 0.050" shorter. I bought the first one and sent it back because it wouldn't snap and wouldn't hold the Harley gas cap down. I thought I had a defective part. I got another one and when I installed it with the same problem it snapped and held. I took a caliper and measured my stock Harley latch and then the one with the button and found that the one with the button was about .050" shorter than the latch latch. I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning another one. so i came up with a solution. Since the case that the latches are on is not metal, I glued a .100" wide metal spacer into the case. Now the chinese push button latch works, but note that this is due to the location and limited access to this area wasn't easy.If you want a project buy these, if not buy a better one.
