I have had many carriers for my 11 lb Papillon. She's always been slow and uninterested in training, and we just found out that her back and hips are really bad, so that explains a lot. But she really loves to be adventurous and to draw attention, so bags are great for that. This one is amazing because it has a nice wide padded strap and I can wear it over my shoulder so I'm more balanced. And it has pockets for all the things we want to take with us on our adventures! We don't use a mesh top because Josie is absolutely used to being in a bag and she's probably a bit big to fit with a zip top, works great for us! We have a big backpack for hiking, but for short walks and shopping we love this bag!
