Nominal size and actual size are different
If I had ordered this to use as a muffler clamp it would have been great. However, I ordered it to use in another application and found the 1 1/4 nominal size to actually be about 1 3/8. The bolt spacing is 1.77 in. on centers and the bolt are 5/16. I returned them and ordered the 1 1/8 which worked perfectly for my application. Great service from After Market Auto. I hope this helps someone else looking for an "off label" application.
