These LED lights are very thin so they can be folded and rotated 90 degrees. They are suitable for television. Remember that each LED only has one color. So if you opt for pure red, green or blue, only every third LED will light up. Anything other than pure red, green, or blue is achieved through a combination of these three colors. If you bend the strip to make a 90 degree turn in a corner, there's a good chance you'll cover one of the LEDs you need, and the color in the corner will be a little off. I use orange to match the room's decor and it works quite well. I had a problem removing the backing from the tape. The tape came off along with the pad. I had to pull them apart and put tape back on the headlights. Also, the tape isn't very strong. I wiped the back of the TV with alcohol wipes but the strip still fell off. Possibly due to TV heating, so plan to invest in stronger double-sided tape. A 4-pin connector was missing from my package, but that wasn't a problem as I didn't need it.
