I'm used to a normal barcode scanner, when scanning a long barcode, it immediately writes it on the computer/device, this scanner - no, longer barcode, you have to wait longer until he has entered each character. It's slow enough to break my rhythm when I'm trying to get a bunch of things done quickly.
