Very very good for the price

So I took a closer look before landing on this wide screen. In my price range I finally decided that the LG was the best fit, but then I was amazed at how many different models there were in just 34 inches! Why did I choose this model? Entry-level widescreen monitor: 1) 34 inches seems like the optimal size. I don't know why anyone would buy a 29 inch wide screen TV. Seems like a waste of money. On the other hand, the 34-inch screen makes for a pretty impressive viewing experience. 2) Connect to the display port. The monitor for my other computer is a 27-inch 4K monitor with Displayport and that makes a big difference. With HDMI, you can't get the 60MHz you need to get the picture you want with that widescreen experience. 3) The price is definitely right! Higher quality 144GHz widescreens are too expensive. At $300, I think this particular LG model is fantastic value for money. 4) Yes, you'd want to forego an adjustable stand on this model, but I've rarely used this setting on my previous monitors, so I don't really miss it here. This device was easy to set up and set up for all of my games. This is an amazing gaming monitor for casual gamers like me. I wish the power/settings button was somewhere else, but I'm already used to it. Overall I think you can't go wrong with this monitor. I am very happy with my purchase. And the delivery was on time, the unit arrived in perfect unopened condition, ripped exactly as advertised. So if you don't need a top-tier monitor for serious gaming or video work, and you're over $1,000, I think this would be a really good choice.

Pros
  • I would like 2 HDMI ports. But a great product for 150. Seems like there are no speakers.
