I have installed over 30 of these adapters in my business environment. Most of them were released under the Moread or Benfei brands and worked flawlessly. I bought them in packs of three as they proved to be good value for money and I've had luck with relatively unnamed brands but was only able to get one of the three to work. This has been confirmed on multiple Windows 10 desktops from HP and Dell, all with various Intel-based integrated graphics. I would not get any display output at any point from startup to full boot. Sometimes I had to disable the adapter to allow the computer to boot. If you plug it in after boot, the adapter will be recognized and show up in the display settings but without properties. In the Intel Graphics Command Center, the added display shows as disabled and will not turn on. Unfortunately I didn't have an urgent need and only bought them to have on hand, so I'm writing this without being able to return them as my window to do so ended yesterday.
