Really good lens for the money

As you can see from the photos they were all taken at the full 800mm focal length. No tripod, everything handheld. This will add some volume, but if you have good tele-holding techniques you'll know how to do it. I just received this today and the quality is really good for the $80 or so I spent. This resolves well on my D750, although it displays DX and crops the image. The DX lens wasn't listed in the order details or description, but I assumed it was. Full-frame telephoto lenses just don't sell for $80-$100. The processing quality is also excellent. again for the price. The focus ring is tight and I like it. Most DX kit lenses have a loose focus ring. Too easy to move. The lens cap is the weakest point. Spring is stuck. I can take another one if needed. Not so hot what's up. It basically makes your camera look like a small telescope. The included T-ring for the lens is nicely finished. No problem, everything is metal and has 3 small Allen screws for extra security of the lens mount. Comes with lens cap and faux leather case. Some chromatic aberration should be expected, but in general it's not a bad thing if your subject is in the center. The image of the flag against a cloudy background was taken at a focal length of 800mm. The problem I had with my camera was that I couldn't adjust the aperture. Fixed on F22. Auto ISO is good enough for most shots. I bought it to photograph rocket launches. Great lens, great price! However, it doesn't perform well in low light, so don't expect much. Should work better on a tripod for the moon or even bright planets. I'll try to get Jupiter and its big moons.
