Review on Stretchable Handlebar Attachments for Hoverboards - Enhance Safety and Stability on Two-Wheeled Scooters by Vincent Burton

Not necessary, makes learning difficult.

Bought for my 6 year old daughter and sent back within 2 days. If your goal is to help a beginner get used to riding a hoverboard, this isn't necessary. One of the main problems is that the bottom part that connects to the hoverboard actually moves in all directions. Left right forward and backward. So if you're trying to keep your balance (for which I assumed) you'll be MORE UNSTABLE with it than without it. Because now you're not only worried about your legs, you're also worried about your arms moving too far forward, backward, and sideways on that bar. Seeing how crazy my daughter looks using this I decided to take it off and let her try it without and boom. without him she was much more stable and confident. In my opinion, without this, people learn to drive quickly, and that's not something that helps. If it were just a solid handlebar that didn't move at the bottom I could see how it could offer some stability, but the way it's built makes it difficult to learn. My daughter learned to ride like a pro in one day without her. And I'm an adult too. Hope that helps.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
