card reader: inexpensive and functional. Mine fell apart after a few uses. The plastic case just crumbles. I don't think it was even glued, it's just a friction fit with little lugs holding it together. When the case fell apart, the metal USB connector was left in my USB port on the laptop. Luckily I was able to close it and pull it out again with a small pair of pliers. There was metal shielding around the connector (the part you can see). I put everything back together and it still works but keeps falling apart. I think I could glue it but I don't want to risk my laptop, I'll just order another one. Although the memory card that comes with the kit works pretty well. The card reader casing was simply poorly designed. If they melted the plastic case together that would be nice.
