Review on πŸ”² Lutron Caseta PICO-WBX-ADAPT Translucent Wireless Wallplate Bracket for Pico Remote by Shane Solorzano

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Gives the appearance of a built in dimmer/switch in a switch box or on a wall

I bought 8 of these and replaced most of the 3 and 4 position switches in my house with them and used a caseta dimmer in the central location. I've also used them to add new switches where I needed them via wall mounting. They (and the Caseta dimmer in general) are very easy to install. Installing in a box requires you to screw it to the box fairly tightly to avoid a "spongy" feel, but when you do, the feel and look is indistinguishable from a wired switch. The bracket replaces the small clear plastic tab on the back of the Pico remote and simply snaps into place. I have included some photos showing how it fits in the box and how everything fits together. It really couldn't be much easier. EDIT: Some other reviewers said that when installed flush against a wall (not in a box) the remote sticks out of the wall a bit. This is because you have to remove the back plate from the mount if you don't put it in the box. That's how it sits upright. It's in the instructions.
