I bought 8 of these and replaced most of the 3 and 4 position switches in my house with them and used a caseta dimmer in the central location. I've also used them to add new switches where I needed them via wall mounting. They (and the Caseta dimmer in general) are very easy to install. This is a really surprisingly simple and reliable system for adding a three position switch. The mounting plate couldn't be easier to install. It's well made, like all Lutron products.
