These bolts must have the same thread pattern as the FORD bolts they are replacing. You are not! In other words, the plastic inserts (unless you replace them with new ones) are already threaded from the original screws. If you replace them with these you will destroy some of the original threads with their thread pattern. Not worth the money, they work, but for the price of four crappy screws, they certainly should. It's also a shame that FORD didn't spend an extra few cents to make them out of stainless materials in the first place.
