During operation, ultrasonic humidifiers may produce a whistling sound. My Stadler Form humidifier operates on the natural basis (wet filter + fan). Both are below 30dB, according to my measurement. But, the Stadler Form's lower frequency noise means that it doesn't bother my ears as much. While I can't comment on the Xiaomi humidifier's performance just yet, I should note that it still features a UV lamp for disinfection. (in a number of years) Superb skin hydrator. Constantly exerts tremendous effort. Never let me down. Over time, the plastic had turned yellow, as it does on all cheap electronics. Voice on/off is the only smart feature I actually use. Once at full power, the hygrometer shows exactly when to turn off the device, making it more convenient than adjusting the intensity manually.
