Review on Rolls FoodVacBags Commercial Vacuum Sealer by Barber Miller

While I really like my food vacuum system (FoodSaver V3835 Automatic Vacuum Seal System), using their bags leaves me a little cold, mainly because of the cost. Add to that the fact that you lose an inch on each side for each roll-up bag, and the price really goes up. A few years ago I bought another brand that said it worked. This prevented the vacuum system from working and wasted time so I resigned myself to using their system. Out of curiosity I read the reviews and they all seemed good except one - and this was later changed to the reviewer contacting the company and they sent in new ones which worked very well. So I tried them; The rolls arrived quickly. When I felt the material, it felt a bit thinner than the Foodsaver bags, so I was a bit concerned. But I tried them with a sausage I made and each pack was sealed perfectly. I will update this review if there are any issues with the leak but it's been over a week now and so far so good. Getting 2-8" x 50' rolls for about 60% the cost of grocery bags makes this a very smart buy. As one reviewer noted, the rolls won't fit in your machine, but it's easy to fit them into about one 15 foot long piece and either roll it off the roll onto one of the inner tubes to preserve food or just roll it up and put it in.' But I can just use them for a lot more things than I used to. And they also have 6" and 11" wide pockets for the same savings.
