Review on Rada Quick Edge Knife Sharpener by Todd Lowry

When I bought I didn't expect much, but I got more than expected. I read somewhere that it doesn't actually sharpen a dull knife. I don't know as I have reasonable sharpness with my kitchen knives. I really thought it would act like plain steel and just smooth the used edge of my carbon steel kitchen knives. But it does more than that by removing and actually sharpening the metal from the edge. I still occasionally sit down and use my Japanese ceramic stones or my Hand America diamond paste blades for a TERRIBLE SHARP EDGE, but in between I feel very comfortable and enjoy using them. Works perfectly ! When used wisely, it keeps knives reasonably sharp. By the way, never use an electric knife sharpener unless it's junk you plan on throwing away soon.
