Review on ๐Ÿ”‘ 8MILELAKE Lift Keys 1-3 Inch Torsion Bar Key and Unloading Tool - Includes Shock Extender Brackets by Bomba Ton

Doubtful but beneficial

I haven't installed them on my truck yet so will update this if I need to once they are installed. Overall it seems good value for money, but there are a few quality issues. I worry about. The first thing I noticed was that there were no cutouts on the wrenches to route the turnbuckles and install/removal tool. You can see in the picture that I drilled a few shallow holes myself, maybe they aren't needed but I'd be better off if they were there. The next thing I noticed was that I have two different sized bolts for the shock extensions. It's okay, too long is better than too short. But it still seems a bit strange and makes me doubt the quality. The third thing I may not be aware of is the shock extensions. They seem a bit tight where they bolt to the control arm as if there is some play. But the part that connects to the shock seems to be the right size. The last thing I noticed was the key dangling a bit in the torsion bar. I think if it's under tension it shouldn't matter, but I would feel better if it fitted a little better. So while three stars for dubious quality. If I feel like it's better or worse once I have them, I'll edit this review. Edit: I installed the keys and am very glad I drilled my own guide dimples! Eventually the pull bolt came out of the recess and I could see it would move to one side of the key. It will probably still work, but a little on the surface. I ended up not using shock extensions, they didn't fit my '99 k1500. I ended up buying a new set of shock absorbers for the lift so no extensions were needed. I'm leaving a three star review, definitely worth the price of the tool that came with it, just needed those pilot holes.
