Review on Telescope Beginners Astronomical Refracting Magnification by Curtis Castillo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for beginners

I was interested in trying out the telescope as I hadn't used one since I was a child. There's something calming yet exciting about it. The telescope comes in beautiful retail packaging, perfect as a gift for a child. I was thrilled when I opened the box and saw everything neatly packed in a tote bag. Without reading the instructions I just started putting it together and was able to get most of the way pretty easily. It is easy to attach the tripod to the telescope, attach the scope to the telescope, and insert the eyepiece. The whole thing will probably take less than 5 minutes. I spent some time gazing at the moon and I understand it's easy and you don't need super fancy gazing gear, but it was just amazing. Nice and bright, easy to focus, good quality. Overall just happy to use it as a beginner. The only downside I would say is that there are a lot of parts (telescope, binoculars, part to attach the binoculars to the telescope, 3 eyepieces, caps for all the eyepieces and probably about 10 other pieces) and you have to reassemble everything back into the bag little annoying. If you just want to set it up and leave, that's no problem.

Cons
