is not a thermostat housing. This is the hose between the oil cooler and the EGR cooler on a 6.0 liter lift diesel. It may have another purpose that I'm not aware of, but this is the best price I've found for it and according to the 6.0 PSD experts, an auto part outperforms any aftermarket part. So I bought it even though the EGR cooler I bought came with the aftermarket. Just cheap insurance in my opinion, kind of buried. Even if you have a leak you can change it with a lot of effort, you have to remove the turbo intercooler pipe and you can replace it.
