Amazing! So I bought these after being advised to get rid of dead animal smell. First we noticed an elderly man who smelled like death. We couldn't tell where the smell was coming from. One day I was walking by the opening that led to the basement and I noticed a strong odor. It turns out that a cat crawled in there to die. The smell was really bad. Before we figured out how to get a dead cat out, I needed something to get rid of the smell. Hence the online research. It turned out that the charcoal absorbed the smell and they did. Put one on the floor and out of sight in the living room, dining room and kitchen and after a few hours the smell was gone. The next day we got rid of the dead cat, but I didn't move the bags of coal. They work wonders and the best part is that you can reactivate them just by putting them in the sun and the price is great. I'm thinking of buying a few more for the car and travel bag.
