Apparently a common problem with my 'stainless' dishwasher like the Frigidaire Dishwasher was that it wouldn't dry (ie the heating element wasn't working). ). Viewed from under the dishwasher, with the dishwasher off, the return connection to this thermostat is literally burned out. The insulating plug was charred black, the metal underneath was destroyed and the connector on the thermostat was also destroyed. It looks like there was a fire on that connector that went out on its own. Replaced this thermostat, cut and removed the wire and crimped a new plain female quick connector to replace the burned one. Somewhat scary is the fact that the old one burned out and this part restored the dry heating function.
