Review on 🌧️ Eton ARCPT200W Rover Self-Powered Weather Radio with Flashlight and USB Cell Phone Charger - American Red Cross Edition by Angel Scully

Bought as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. He just LOVES it and really just uses it to listen to the radio all the time because he loves it so much (maybe I'll have to buy us a second one for legitimate hikes :p). I can not go too deep into it . Detail because it stays with him but I can say that it is well made, has a beautiful design and is effective. He said he just turned it on for a few seconds as a test and was able to listen to the radio for an ungodly amount of time. Needless to say, he's more than impressed with the crank-to-radio timing relationship. I tend to go for a cheaper handheld radio because we don't have a lot of money, but quality is also extremely important to me. After getting frustrated with cheap models that didn't have the combination of features I wanted, cranking power, or just the quality I was hoping for as a gift, I finally agreed that you get what you pay for. It's a excellent product. You won't regret this purchase and it's definitely worth the jump in price over $15 models from other brands. I saw them for sale at the Sharper Image store at my local mall. If they are still in stock, you can go to the store and experience it yourself. The only criticism is that the lettering rubs off easily. The dial labels and all other writing on the product are some type of chalk material and this was a terrible decision by Eton. I was able to easily scratch off part of the word, just lightly with my fingernail to test it. Just make sure you read up on it and know what dials are before you hit it hard in case the writing does wear out. Without this problem I would have given 5 stars. A really excellent product.
