I recently switched from using just distilled water and PT Nuke to using 900ml distilled water and 1 bottle (100ml) of this clear EK CryoFuel in my custom circuit. Before using this fluid I completely disassembled and cleaned all my components consisting of EK Velocity Nickel/Plexi Threadripper Block, EVGA Hydrocopper 1080 Ti FTW3, EK XRES Reservoir/Pump, Black Ice Nemesis GTX 420 Heatsink, PrimoFlex Advanced. LRT hoses and all EK-ACF compression fittings. I even rinsed my radiator with a half solution of white vinegar and distilled water and rinsed with distilled water until no more deposits came out (I've been using a radiator for a number of years so that's to be expected). Then I rebuilt everything and poured in this coolant mixture. A few hours after pumping the circuit and filling the tank, I noticed small spots inside the tank; If you've ever seen the effect of "hard water" on glass, it looked something like this. It was a brand new never used reservoir tube from EK, I replaced it when I sorted everything out. I didn't really think about it and decided to let it all go for a few days and see what happens. My temperature was at par, the Threadripper was overclocking with lots of thermal headroom, the GPU was cold. So, two weeks later, I took a look inside the case and specifically the CPU block. A nice feature of the EK water block plexi sheet is that you can see if there is debris on the ribs or other parts of the block. Guess what? That's exactly what I saw! It was a pale yellow goo that had formed around the reaction plate next to the inlet. I also noticed that the stains in the tank were getting more numerous as well, and I saw debris sitting on the surface of the water in the tank and being blown to the bottom by the wind near the pump inlet. That's enough for me. I drained everything, rinsed it several times with distilled water, and took everything apart to clean the CPU block and reservoir. I haven't noticed any accumulations anywhere else. I rebuilt everything and went back to my PT Nuke and the distilled blend and haven't had any issues since. I have always loved using EK products in the past and still do! I have never used their coolants or their additives and after this experience I think I will continue to do so. I'm sorry to write this negative review but I hope it helps EK improve their coolant additives in the future and in the meantime save the other person the same headache I had with EK-CryoFuel Concentrate Coolant, 100ml . , Clean.
