1. How do you write a review for a safety product you hope you never need? For myself I added it and kept the original weaker seal. I was glad they both fit, especially the protection. My back pad arrived a little stiff, but naturally softened a bit. At first I was concerned that it might be defective as it was quite stiff, but it wasn't. I feel absolutely safe in my jacket and backpack. Everything is very convenient; Trust me, I'm picky about comfort. A lot of my long journeys take place in hot weather and I am sure that everything will be fine with me and I will be comfortable. I've ridden over 100 miles with the one described and can't say I've noticed the pads.
