Review on 🧥 Women's North Face Bionic Jacket - Clothing for Women in Coats, Jackets & Vests by Leslie Cyrius

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall the jacket is good but far from ideal.

Good: I bought this jacket to replace my old standard North Face fleece and it's definitely an upgrade. It keeps me warm and dry and is the perfect jacket for mild to moderate winters. It's mostly water resistant, but I haven't tested it for more than 15-20 minutes in prolonged rain. All zippers are of excellent construction and the stitching and stitching are strong and clean. Not Good: This jacket VERY restricts upper body and shoulder movement. It's fine for hiking and relaxing, but any kind of outdoor work (e.g. chopping wood) is next to impossible. This is not the versatile jacket you are looking for. What SUPER disappoints me the most is how quickly the inner cuffs wear out. The sleeves are very long and partially cover the arms, the cuffs are lined with soft jersey/fleece. I've had this jacket for three months, probably wore it 20 times and these cuffs are a CRASH. They roll up, wear badly, and constantly cling to my jewelry and nails. I like the idea of the soft padding near the arms, but this stuff really misses the mark.

Pros
  • 100% DWR coated windproof fabric
Cons
  • Not bad
