Fat jacket. Looks great.

Much thicker/heavier than I thought. For that reason I wouldn't say this is clothing for every season (especially here in the south). But the quality is good and it looks great. As you can see from the photo, the color is a little lighter than black. I'm the right size I'm 5ft 2in and 125lbs and the little one fits well.

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Very soft! for coats, jackets and vests

I didn't think it would fit as I'm on my weight loss journey BUT IT WILL FACT! It's very form fitting and definitely hugs the waist a bit and won't fit with a heavier shirt underneath, but it's very warm so I doubt I'll need anything other than a thin/light shirt underneath. Also, I'm 5ft 6in, 175lbs and wear a 38B cup. If you're more fortunate in your chest, you might find it hard to zip up your girls.

Pros
  • Curved cuffs for added protection with comfortable stretch knit inner cuffs
Cons
  • I will add later

Great Jacket - Love Northface Product

I'm small 5'6 and I have a really hard time finding clothes (especially jackets) that fit me. The sleeves are a little big for me, but otherwise everything fits perfectly. I have the same jacket in white and I love it. I live in the south, where it rarely gets cold, but I've been fine on days with temperatures in the 20's. It doesn't feel windy at all and I love the extra zippered chest pocket for credit cards or lip balm.

Pros
  • Elastane Mesh Polyester
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Very stiff, sleeves too long

I'm surprised that there are very few reviews of how stiff the jacket is, especially considering it's a soft shell. It's a lot stiffer than my Northface ski jacket. This jacket is also noisy and cannot move normally because the material does not stretch. Also, the sleeves are about 3.5 inches longer than my other Northface jackets, which I've never had an issue with. The inner pockets are lined with very thin mesh - I would have liked a real inner pocket. I liked the color but disappointed…

Pros
  • Regular fit
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great for our desert winters!

Love this jacket. I'm a size larger than usual so I can wear layers underneath if I want and it's perfect. You'll love the high, felt-lined collar that you can tuck your chin in without scratching your face. Really so that the whole jacket is lined and soft. The length is perfectly just below the hips. The outer material is super windproof. It's a bit stiff at first, which didn't really bother me, but it softens anyway. Great for our desert winter, extra runnable but probably not warm enough to

Pros
  • Hidden zippered chest pocket
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Overall the jacket is good but far from ideal.

Good: I bought this jacket to replace my old standard North Face fleece and it's definitely an upgrade. It keeps me warm and dry and is the perfect jacket for mild to moderate winters. It's mostly water resistant, but I haven't tested it for more than 15-20 minutes in prolonged rain. All zippers are of excellent construction and the stitching and stitching are strong and clean. Not Good: This jacket VERY restricts upper body and shoulder movement. It's fine for hiking and relaxing, but any kind

Pros
  • 100% DWR coated windproof fabric
Cons
  • Not bad

Well made, a little stiff, order larger if unsure.

Very well made softshell as you'd expect from North Face. It would be great for hiking, trekking or running in temperatures between 20 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit depending of course on how hot your body is and what you have under your jacket. The fleece lining is very soft. Overall, the jacket is a bit stiff due to the outer layer, but this makes it wind and water resistant. The water resistance is pretty good. I wouldn't wear it in pouring rain and wouldn't expect it to stay bone dry, but in a…

Pros
  • Imported

  • Lots of stuff
