Review on 💦 Gates 42131 Premium Engine Water Pump: Ensure Optimal Cooling Performance by Aaron Zaragosa

I know it was my stupid mistake. Somehow I ordered this for my '94 and didn't realize it was the wrong part until I assembled it (so the pump was already on). The two pumps are identical except that the 1.8L water pump has a tab on the left hand side that the alternator clamp bracket bolts to, while the 1.6L pump does not have this tab. So if you have 1.8, unless you don't plan on removing your generator for some reason, buy Gates 42134 instead. Other than that, it looks like a quality product. And obviously I felt great ordering the same piece in the right fit.
