Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK Archer T4E, green by Wiktor Sakowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A reliable product for all occasions, the quality is at the level.

I bought a system unit in the assembly along with this adapter. I suffered with interruptions on the connection to the Internet. The store claimed that all the firewood was supplied. Were: - High ping. - Connection interruptions. - Long page loads. - Break . Music, stop playback. Read these reviews. I installed the drivers from the official site, then removed them, and installed them from scratch. It became: - Stable connection, no interruptions. - . Music steadily purrs. - Pages, like on the previous machine that burned down, are loaded instantly, and without complaints. - Ping in cs:go decreased and stabilized. For my region, 45-47ms in game is considered acceptable. My router is fancy, dual-band from Rostelecom. After installing the drivers, this adapter sat on the 52nd channel of the 5 GHz network. I did not see any restriction to the 40th channel. But I don’t know where to configure the channels on which the adapter should connect to the router. The only thing I did: in the adapter settings, instead of "auto", I chose the connection via Wi-Fi "ac", maybe it would have worked without it. And before that, being sure that everything was set correctly in the store, I tormented Rostelecom's technical support about an unstable connection and breaks. And everything was decided by reinstalling the drivers from the official site. : In general, after a fairly long use, I came to work with him like this: It works stably for several days, then interruptions and failures begin -> REINSTALL THE DRIVER -> Again it works stably for several days. And so in a circle. So, they clearly have problems with the drivers.

Pros
  • Smart, worth the money.
Cons
  • Doesn't work out of the box.
