We bought this for our 8 year old who was about to have surgery. When we gave it to her she was so excited that the magic of real unicorns would protect her. It's so damn soft and comfortable that she wore it everywhere for about a week. She kept going to the bedroom, to the sofa, to Mom and Dad's bed, to the bathroom, to doctor's appointments (although she stayed in the car because it was too big to carry a blanket like a child). she adores him. The only reason I docked the stars is because I had to fix them multiple times. A few quick stitches along the edge to mend torn seams. If it weren't for the numerous seam breaks, I would have given 5 stars!
