I bought this kit to replace a rusted brake line in my old hammer. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a tool that I would only use once and then keep away. I'm not a professional mechanic so I can't speak for the quality of this set compared to what a 'real' mechanic might use, but I can say that for the project I bought it for, worked great. I'm grateful it was such an inexpensive option. I think a complete brake line replacement is around $50 (flaring tool kit + brake line + fittings).
