Review on PPE Diesel 149000105 Insulator Compatible by Jay Campbell

Bought because an animal got into the engine bay during the colder months and destroyed the protective coating on the OEM firewall. Stumbled across this PSA fire blanket and decided to buy it. I won't exaggerate, installation is not for the faint of heart. This isn't a bad thing, but it does take some skill to install while the engine is in the truck. I have a very nice 2004 2500HD so it was probably harder to set up as it was difficult to access. Took 2-3 hours but was worth it. A bit pricey but the quality is great and now I can actually open the hood without getting tangled in bits of fiberglass.
