Once I was able to unwind just one tie from a set of 10 ties, it could easily be used to secure our rural post box post to the nearest roadside guardrail support. Hopefully this will help the mailbox weather the onslaught of ice and snow from government snow plows this winter. The hardest part of my repair was releasing a clamp from a pack of ten. I think it would be easier to just cut the zip ties on the clips, twist off each clip and attach them individually for storage, but I didn't have time. Maybe I'll do it next time I need it (when I have time).
