Great for emergencies, occasional use
I have a garage that sometimes gets flooded in heavy rain because the garage is at the end of the driveway and the end of the driveway with the garage is about 5 feet below street level . Such floods occur 1 or 2 times a year and last less than 1/2 hour. I needed a pump that would turn on automatically when there was water, have a battery backup, and let me know when it activated. This device does all of this and has been working flawlessly for almost 2 years.
