This is a great sharpener. So far I've gone through my entire knife drawer and brought a dozen different blades back to life. Time will tell, but so far so good. However, the first package that arrived (with an unrelated item in my order, which was fine) was opened and placed in a box of torn cardboard and plastic wrap, as if someone had taken the time to open it, too use and then thrown back in the shipping carton as if the buyer didn't notice. very strange. I asked for a replacement and received it just before the seller acknowledged my return so no complaints. It will always remain a mystery that someone thought it would go unnoticed or have nothing to do with the customer.
