That's really not a bad vise. These vises have the same functions as any other vise. You get full 360 degree rotation with a base that screws onto your desk. Jaws are decent and grip well. Also nice is the set of rubber grips that run over the handles so you don't scratch or damage anything. This is great for jacks or anything else you want to be careful with. This vise is in the same price range as other 4.5 inch vises. Of course there are others for a few dollars cheaper, but then you have to go to the store and queue. Sometimes it's worth having something delivered directly to your home, paying a few euros more. I live on a farm so this will definitely come in handy. It feels like it's made well enough to last for many years, given heavy use. I don't believe in getting something if it's just good for spending time at home. If it is a tool, it must endure the penalty of being a tool, regardless of the price. From a young age I maintained industrial plants and worked with equipment. I know a decent tool when I see one, and it's definitely a good tool that should work for a while. If I'm wrong for any reason, you can bet I'll be back to give an update.
