Replacing the cabin filter (Audi) is very easy. Three large thumbscrews come out, the cover comes down, then you have to break off the real air filter cover/latch and it pops straight out. Watch how it comes out so the new one should go in and you have to push it in, it fits snugly. Don't be afraid of it, just plug it in, snap on the clasp/lid and the whole job takes less than 15-20 minutes even for a beginner. Then go and have a nice dinner with the money saved without getting ripped off by a dealer for this simple job!
