Mixed Review - Pros and Cons of ROKR vs UGears

I love building models out of wood and have already built a couple of ROKRs and a UGear model. ROKR instructions are easier to follow and parts are easier to put together (sometimes getting tabs in a hole can be a real chore with UGear). However, they were too light on this model - they didn't hold together. And building the upper oval structure was very laborious - each disk followed her. After reading other reviews and browsing the FB fan page I found out that a lot of people use glue and so do I. It is also highly recommended to grind and wax the long strips inserted into each disc; which greatly simplifies insertion. After some tweaking, I managed to get the car running. Their support is outside of China and only through FB messenger (I think they end up answering emails too, but it takes a while). You will get a response approximately every 24 hours, making it almost impossible to fix the issue. In general, it was a fun project, but there were moments of disappointment, and there was practically no support, although they tried to support everyone.
