Received, unpacked and installed in about 10 minutes. It came pre-charged and it was very easy to set up two collars connected to one remote. Something I can say right off the bat is that this is a much more durable feel than the cheap $50 models that are available. Build quality looks and feels significantly better, and performance has been excellent so far. I have previously purchased TWO other products in the $50 range and both performed poorly and broke within 6 months. Previous products didn't come close to the advertised range, even in an open field on a clear day. The power buttons would wear out and the collars would randomly turn off and not turn on and then turn back on. In short, you get what you pay for. This device has a REALLY long range and even the collars themselves (not an electronic device but part of a necklace) are much more powerful than the cheaper alternatives I've tried before. The only negative is that after the first day, when adjusting the vibration, one of the collars started making a very loud noise - as if the vibration mechanism inside was loose. BUT I emailed a customer service representative who had already emailed me to verify my satisfaction with the purchase and he immediately offered to send me a replacement collar even though technically the collar is still working. This kind of customer service is rare and a good thing. I will be upgrading to 5 stars after getting a new collar (and assuming it works well for 6 months).
