Take time to Set up and Will work well

These take some messing with to get them to work, but I feel it is worth it as it does work. I feel that if you are using it with potted plants that you should d o one at a time. Once you have it installed then test it for a few days before placing your potted plant where are you wanted to go. Take your time putting the black spike and the little hose and nozzle into the potted plant to make sure it is in there well. Then add your water bottle that is full of water. I used mountain dew plastic bottles and they worked just fine. Depending on how you have put the small hose with a nozzle into the dirt will relay how much water gets into the plant. The big nozzle is just for supporting the water bottle so you can place that most anywhere in the pot as long as it is upright, but it’s the little hose with the little tiny nozzle that is for letting the water drop into the dirt. This is What you want to pay the most attention to because this is where the water is coming out of. If you don’t get it in the dirt correctly it will either clog up or the balance will be off and the water won’t drip down into the dirt. Once you get it correctly done you never have to mess with it again so taking the time to do this first will save you time later. Once you have it correct then from that point on all you need to do to refill the bottle is grab the water bottle from the spike that’s holding it fill it with water and place it back in there again and the whole process will pretty much take care of itself. Please note that there is a little bit of a ridge on the nozzle stake so you can twist the bottom on about a half a turn this helps stabilize it on that large stake nozzle. I think that’s another important step to keep the water inside the bottle until it starts to slowly drip out of the nozzle.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • Can interfere with plant growth or root development
