This is a beautifully made and finished hub and I was very impressed when it arrived. My main use was to use two USB ports at the same time since my laptop only has one USB port. However, after I connected the scanner and mouse to the new hub, my scanner only worked when my mouse was unplugged. And my mouse responded erratically when plugged in and crashed intermittently. I've gone back to using a single USB port on my laptop and am working on this deficiency again.
