This is a really good jacket for spring or fall. My son loves it and it is true to size. This is more of a lightweight jacket fabric than a thick plastic raincoat. It is waterproof in light rain but not waterproof in heavy rain. The pockets close with a zipper, which is very convenient for children. There is also an elastic band around the wrists and a Velcro strap under the chin. My son loves that it has construction vehicles, but it doesn't look "childish" at all. Overall a great lightweight jacket for spring or fall!
