Review on Authentic Japanese Sometsuke Bowl Set: Exquisite Bowls for Delightful Dining Experience by Joseph Scalea

These bowls are just the right size for my kids to have a cup of cereal in the morning. The bowls in my house don't last long as they keep breaking or breaking, so the price was a plus. I prefer not to buy utensils or anything else I'm going to eat from China due to safety issues and recalls, but I haven't read about these issues from Japan where these bowls were made. It's a pity that there are no matching plates, I would have bought one too. It's not clear from the picture, but the outside of the bowl has a matte finish than the inside. I think it looks good but some might not like it.
