I'm an electronics engineer first. So the remote control is not as user friendly as shown in the video, you cannot get the functions of the lights shown in the video, they are not possible with the lights and the remote control we got. Most importantly, the light filaments are only about 3.5 feet tall, if so THEY ARE NOT 5 feet tall. WE PURCHASED TWO UNITS, BOTH WERE THE SAME (NOT WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO) so we did not receive a 'single' wrong item. When we send refunds through Amazon, we first get our money back and then the company says they didn't receive the item, after which we are charged again. I am NOT returning them for this reason. I know LEDs, I know electronics, and it's not just user error (and much smaller filaments of light). We also have a small manufacturing company for LED wearables. We have worked with numerous remote controls and programmed many different LED setups. We believe this is just another purchase falsely advertised on Amazon. I agree with Melissa in these reviews, read hers too. So sad. Since October our son has been hospitalized three times and we have been trying to get him Christmas lights as he cannot go to see the exhibition. Every unscrupulous or questionable seller reduces our quality of life a little bit, erodes consumer trust and puts a strain on people in general. That is NOT the spirit of Christmas and our world should not be like that.
