My favorite scrambled egg has small metal loops as handles. After burning my fingers a few times and catching fire on a kitchen towel and an oven mitt, I realized I needed a better solution for handling the pan while cooking eggs. These pliers are perfect! You can't leave them on the handles while the flame is burning or they'll temporarily discolor and get quite warm, but they're simple enough to just slip on and off when needed. They also fit the handles on my large enamelled cast iron stoves so I think I'll be using them for a while.
