I wish I had read some of the bad reviews on here before I bought it. Apparently some of these blankets are "defective" and will not bulge when you break the vacuum seal. However, I am wondering if this is "defective" or false advertising. I've exposed my duvet to the air for about 24 hours and even put it in the dryer on the "air down" setting and it's barely puffed up in places. After leaving the dryer for an hour, even that swelling went away. But you can also tell that the duvet isn't as full as it should be for a 750 duvet just by touch. It's incredibly flat and I feel like even when inflated there isn't enough inflation. After all, they advertise that the bowl has 1200 TC. I have 1200 TC sheets and this comforter doesn't even come close to that feeling. I bought the duvet because the performance was comparable to a parachute duvet and it was less than half the price, but I think you get what you pay for. I will be returning this very soon. Very disappointed.
