Locking tube with suction cup. The suction cup stuck to the glass and the hose failed, breaking off and spraying water all over the room. This happened by itself, only with the pump running. No other damage or misuse. 2 months The glass is too thin to be sure. Soaked carpet, water pours from the ceiling. I managed to catch it for a few minutes but 20g still landed on the ground. Without me it would have been a total disaster and hundreds, not thousands, of damage. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS PART! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Previous review: Well packaged. Don't worry about breakage during transportation. This poppy shaped design calms the canister filter outlet back into the tank without creating high flows.
