I love this fryer! I bought this to replace a smaller unit that just wasn't working with two hungry teenagers in the house. I'm so glad I did. This unit is huge. Easily fits enough food for my family of four. Initially I only used it for frozen nuggets and french fries. And let me tell you, the fries are great! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and not greasy. Perfection! Today I took a little risk and made a batch of gluten free panko chicken from scratch. I wasn't sure how they would turn out as they didn't work very well in my previous fryer. Made! They tan beautifully in just 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Turned once in the middle. I have attached an image for reference. My boys ate them. This makes it fun to experiment with other recipes. The unit comes with a cookbook with a wide range of recipes including several desserts that I am keen to try. I also like the preset keys. However, in my experience, the foods I cook cook much faster than the time set on the appliance, so I advise you to use them with caution until you become comfortable with them. And make sure to turn the food halfway through cooking so it browns evenly. Happy roasting!
