I love these shorts! (I have both 5" and 7" black ones.). They are very comfortable and the one piece stretches a bit if needed. The pockets are big enough for my phone, keys or wallet. They also dry quickly so are ideal for the lake, amusement parks, hiking etc and they keep their shape/size after being machine washed and tumble dried on a low setting! Whether you prefer the 5" or 7" inseam, these shorts aren't too long like some, but they're not too short either. These aren't skinny shorts, but they're great for hiking, jogging, or gardening. Plus, they look pretty so can be worn anywhere shorts are appropriate! Be careful! I didn't realize at first that the description said the actual material will vary depending on the color you choose. I also ordered them in anthracite, but sent them back. Although made in the same style, they looked and felt completely different because they were made from different materials. They didn't fit either. (There's nothing wrong with gray and charcoal shorts, but I prefer simple stretchy, quick-drying solid colors.) The black (solid color) shorts are perfect for my normal height. However, if you order gray or anthracite, I think you can order a size up. As the black and blue shorts move with your body, the stretchy material made them feel more comfortable. However, I recommend solid colors! I have already ordered more black ones (5" and 7") and will order the navy blue 5" when they become premium again.
