Review on 🖨️ Wangdd22 Volcano: High-Quality Printer Filament Extruder for Precision Printing by Andrew Dickens

I love that this hotend not only comes with a regular heater block, but also the volcanic heater block that I use in my printer as it is long enough is to get to the bottom of the old hotend. I use a 0.6mm tip and it works fine. I manually extruded the filament, let it hang and cool, and my micrometer measured it to 0.597mm - 0.602mm (+-0.003mm accuracy, which impressed me!) There are only 3 things I don't like about this kit likes: 1 The replaceable thermal breaks are PTFE coated, which limits these thermal breaks to 240°C. But I plan to buy new ones, all-metal. (It comes with 1 all-metal thermal brake that is smooth with no burrs or sharp edges) 2. The fan clip (blue plastic retainer) was cracked (broken) before I even installed it. At the top the clamp is very thin and I can see why it broke but it doesn't seem to interfere with this work.3. There is no clear indication of what thermistor is used (I was able to google it to be a 100K NTC 3950). Overall very happy with this purchase!
