Review on PLATT Bike Seatpost Quick Release Clamp - Aluminum 🚲 Alloy Bicycle Seat Post Collar 28.6mm / 31.8mm / 34.9mm by Stanley Molden

I ordered a 28.6mm clamp for a 27.2mm bike seat tube. I have two bikes, both with this size seat tube, which are fully interchangeable. I couldn't fit this clamp to the bike frame hole without lifting it to widen it. At this point, the threaded holes on the clamp were misaligned and the grub screw on the clamp was about an inch shorter. I removed another quick release clamp from another bike and it worked great. In comparison, it is noticeable that the diameter of this clip is at least two millimeters smaller. The attached photos show the clip (silver) versus the correct size clip (black). 28.6mm is the inner diameter of the bike frame tube that contains the seat tube. The clamp, which is placed on the frame tube like a clamp, should be approx. 31 mm long when not clamped.
